The VW Tiguan 1.4 TSI Trendline comes with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a modern-day SUV. It continues to offer a stylish yet simplistic finish with seat upholstery in fabric with inserts in “Microdot” patterns. It has a good sized touchscreen radio with MP3/WMA compatibility, Bluetooth and USB interface also for iPod/ iPhone. While most compact SUVs are comfortable for four people, the Tiguan can seat five in relative comfort with more than enough boot space for shopping, luggage or sporting equipment.
On the VW Tiguan 1.4 Trendline, you also get a host of standard features such as cruise control with speed limiter, height- and a length-adjustable front centre armrest with storage box, 2 cup holders and a 12-volt socket at the rear among many others. The exterior also turns heads with front fog lights and cornering lamps, LED tail lights, roof rails, body-coloured side mirror housing and door handles, chrome radiator grille frame and slats.
While the VW Tiguan is a formidable urban road warrior and exceptionally adept at longer journeys, the models with active four-wheel-drive and hill descent control would be the best option for those weekend adventurers taking on somewhat more challenging terrain.

Used VW Caravelle For Sale

The T6 Caravelle Highline has a 132 kW Bi Turbo TDI engine and delivers on the VW promise of quality, performance and reliability. While the rear seat may look heavy, it can easily be removed without using any tools. With an 80-litre tank and a claimed average fuel economy of 8.8./100 km, the VW Caravelle can go the distance while keeping you in a bubble of luxury.

A slightly cheaper alternative family vehicle is the VW Kombi. As with the Caravelle, it offers plenty of room and loads of extras with the biggest difference being the powertrain. Unlike the regular VW Kombi 2.0 TDI Trendline models which come with either a 75 kW turbo-diesel engine in manual form or a 103 kW DSG, the Trendline Plus gets the more powerful, economical BiTDI twin-turbo-diesel. This option was previously only available in the top-of-the-range Comfortline. As a result, the T6 Kombi Trendline produces 132 kW and 400 Nm of torque mated to a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox.
Over and above the features from the Trendline, the Trendline Plus gets a few more. This includes a Composition Media six-speaker touchscreen audio system with AppConnect and reverse camera, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights.
