First Generation BMW X5
---|---|
The very first BMW X5 was a crossover vehicle manufactured by BMW between the years of 1999 and 2006. The engine and electronics system was based on what was currently being used in the BMW 5 Series, and because of this, the First Generation X5 is very popular in the pre-owned vehicle’s market. This is because the 5 Series BMW tech is easily upgradable and is compatible with BMW’s latest convenience technologies. The First Generation BMW X5 received a facelift in late 2003, which included many design cue’s seen in the Second Generation X5 (see below). Did You Know? The first generation of X5 was part Land Rover, as the BMW company owned that brand at the time and utilised numerous Land Rover technologies to ensure that the X5 was a powerful off-road car. These technologies included the Land Rovers impressive Hill Descent System and exceptional Off-road Engine Management system. |

The Used BMW X5 Prices for the vehicles on this page are determined by a number of factors, the most obvious being the age and trim level of the X5 in question. However, the condition of the vehicle (both mechanically and the body aesthetic condition) and the mileage also play a factor. Additionally, if the X5 is a demo model or a near to new model there might also be a part of the Warranty or Service Plan still in place, which will also affect the Used BMW X5 Price.
